DALLAS, Sept. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As rescue and recovery efforts from the recent devastating earthquake in Mexico continue, MoneyGram (NASDAQ:MGI), Banco Azteca and Elektra announce a waiver on all transaction fees for donations made to Fundación Azteca de Grupo Salinas, a non-profit organization promoting awareness and social and environmental change through corporate social responsibility.
The fee waiver applies to all donations up to $249.99 per transaction sent between September 23 and November 30, 2017. Funds will help support the organization's efforts to provide shelter, supplies and other types of assistance to those in need.

"Together with Fundación Azteca, we are working as an important connection between the Mexican diaspora living in the United States and their beloved home country by providing a simple way to donate during this difficult time."
Fundación Azteca donations can be made at www.MoneyGram.com or any MoneyGram agent location in the U.S. All donations should be submitted to " Fundación Azteca/Elektra " under receive code 16383.
