The investigation concerns whether the Company violated Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Specifically, the investigation will focus on the Company's July 14, 2016 announcement that a brain cancer patient in a clinical trial for its experimental gene therapy, Ad-RTS-hIL-12, died and that there was a second patient death in a gene therapy study unrelated to the Ad-RTS-hIL-12 one.
