AirWatch Distributor Recognizes Good Technology Patents and Ceases Sales in Germany

SUNNYVALE, Calif. and FRANKFURT, Germany, March 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --  Good Technology, the leader in secure mobility, today announced that Envision Software GmbH, a German distributor of mobility management products for AirWatch, has voluntarily recognized and acknowledged Good's pending patent infringement claims, including Good's right to ask for an injunction and damages in Germany. AirWatch is a subsidiary of VMware, Inc. VMW.

Based on the statement filed by Envision with the court, the Dusseldorf District Court will issue a corresponding judgment against Envision, including a permanent injunction and obligation to pay reasonable damages to Good Technology for its earlier sale of AirWatch products. Envision is obligated to cease and desist from further distribution of the AirWatch offering and has removed all references to the AirWatch offering from its website.
