Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) is the newest player in the 3D printing business.
The retail giant announced the launch of a 3D printing store, which will give customers access to 200 products that can be customized by material, size, color and imprints.
Although the store is unlikely to have any material impact on Amazon’s business, 3D printing stocks are likely to see some action Monday morning, despite a quiet pre-market session. It is uncertain which company’s printers Amazon will use, but the order will be sizable.
