China Gold Stone Mining Development Limited (collectively, "China Gold Stone") announced today that they have commenced a cash tender offer (the "Tender Offer") for all of the outstanding shares of common stock, and related stock purchase rights, of Allied Nevada Gold Corp (NYSE: ANV). Tendering shareholders will be paid $7.50 per share in cash. The Tender Offer and Consent Solicitation will expire at midnight, (one minute after 11:59 p.m.), New York City time, on January 24, 2014, unless extended or earlier terminated (the "Expiration Time").

This Tender Offer is subject to a number of conditions that are set forth in the Offer to Purchase, including, without limitation, (i) the consummation of acquirer due diligence, (ii) the receipt of the required consents and (iii) the execution and delivery of a definitive agreements.

We have engaged CB Capital Partners, Inc. to act as our financial advisor and have selected the law firm of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP to act as our legal counsel.
