Amazon.com Goes Down, Leaving Millions Forced To Work (AMZN)

Amazon.com AMZN, the world's largest online retailer, seems to have been hit by an outage Monday afternoon. As of this writing, the site is not loading for many visitors across the country. It is unclear how far this outage may stretch, but the retailer is known for quickly rebounding from these kinds of outages. Thus far, the outage has not gotten much attention on Twitter. Last winter, an AWS (Amazon Web Services) outage took down the world's most popular streaming video service, Netflix NFLX. Amazon's own streaming video service, known as part of the Amazon Prime package, was not affected by the outage.
