It's Google's way of handing the crown to Facebook.
After
harassing celebrities and treating its social networking site as
an exclusive club for select individuals, Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) has decided to
let everyone sign up for Google+.
This news comes at a time when consumers are
walking away from the social networking site, primarily because they're too busy using Facebook (which
happily copied Google+'s best features) to care about anything else.
Other new features include a search function in Google+, while screen sharing and Google Docs are being added to Hangouts.
