Maridose has been approved by the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to be a Schedule 1 drug manufacturer licensed to cultivate marijuana for research and commercial product development purposes. Our research/cultivation facility and Center of Excellence for Cannabis Research is located at Brunswick Landing in Brunswick, Maine. Unlike the approximately 600 Schedule 1 cannabis “researchers”, our license allows us to legally research on the live plant.
January, 2021: Thomas (Tom) Herskovits joins Maridose’s Board of Directors. Tom is the former President of Kraft and President General Foods Breakfast Foods Division. Harvard School of Public Health Nutritional Roundtable and Leadership Council.
July, 2019: A Research Collaboration Agreement between Maridose and the Fraunhofer Center for Molecular Biotechnology, part of Germany’s Fraunhofer Institutes has been finalized. Reuter’s ranks Fraunhofer is the second most innovative research institution in the world. (#1 US HHS)
May, 2019: Professor Lumir Hanus the world renown analytical chemist and a leading figure in the field of cannabis research has joined Maridose’s Scientific Advisory Board as Chairman.
