Deckers Outdoor Up 13% After Q1 Beat And Raise

Deckers Outdoor Corp DECK shares are trading higher by $7.70 (13.6 percent) at $64.27 in Friday's session.

The catalyst for the rally is a Q1 adjusted EPS beat of 16 cents along with a sales beat of $11.9 million. The company also raised Q1 and FY 2018 EPS guidance.

After a higher open, Deckers had a brief retreat to $64.24 before continuing its move higher. The ensuing rally took the stock all the way to $68.26 before profit-takers came in. That marks the highest level for the stock since August 2016, when it peaked at $68.75.

It has come all the way back to make a new low for the session at $63.96 as of 11:00 a.m. EST.
