Under Armour Higher In Volatile Session

Under Armour Inc UAA shares are trading higher by $1.71 (7.3 percent) at $21.42 in Thursday's session. The catalyst for the rally is a Q1 EPS beat of $0.03 along with a slight beat for sales.

After higher open, Under Armour's stock had a brief $0.09 retreat to $20.63 before continuing its move higher. The ensuing rally found resistance in a familiar area.

Since its shellacking after its Q4 report, the stock made multiple highs in the $22.00 handle. In fact, since January 31 (day of Q4 report), the stock has made seven daily highs from $22.05 to $22.34 (highest level since report).

In today's session, the stock has found resistance between those levels at $22.12. It has reversed course of that high and is attempting to regain upward momentum in the mid-$21.00 handle.
