Chesapeake Energy Corporation CHK shares are unchanged at $5.92 in Thursday's session. Before the open, the company announced Q4 earnings coming inline for EPS at $0.07 and just off sales at $2.021 billion vs. $2.08 billion estimates.
At this time, the issue is still trading within Wednesday's range. The rally off the open was halted a penny shy of Wednesday's high ($6.09) at $6.08. On the downside, the issue has found support $0.02 ahead of Wednesday's low ($5.90) at $5.92.

Despite a strong market so far in 2017, the issue is in the red for the year by 15 percent from its 2016 close of $7.02.
