Yelp Inc YELP shares are trading lower by $4.88 (12 percent) at $36.61 in Friday's session. Investors are exiting the issue despite a Q4 beat of $0.07 on revenues that came inline.
The issue, which ended 2016 at $38.13, briefly reached $43.71 on February 2. It backed off that level and four consecutive closes at the $41.50 area, including Thursday's close of $41.49.
After a lower open, it managed a brief bounce to $38.42 before continuing its move lower. So far, the ensuing decline has reached $36.01 and it's attempting to rebound. That level is just ahead of a pair of lows from December 19 ($35,62) and December 20 ($35.63).
