Deckers Outdoor Corp DECK shares are trading lower by $9.80 (17 percent) at $45.74 in Friday's session.
The issue has been bombarded with sellers after an Q3 EPS miss of $0.13 on lower sales of $26.5 million. The company significantly lowered Q4 and FY 2017 guidance and sales to -5 percent.
After a lower open, it immediately bottomed at $45.25, but the rally stalled at $47.50. This marks the lowest level for the issue since it bottomed on February 5, 2016 at $41.96. It has been unable to maintain those gains and has now fallen back into the $45.00 handle.
