Alcoa Kicks Off Q1 Earnings Season With EPS Beat And Revenue Miss

shares are trading lower by $0.26 at $9.48 in Tuesday's session. After the close on Monday, the company kicked out Q1 earnings season with a EPS beat of nickel but on slightly lower sales. One piece of encouraging news from the report was that the company projects 6-8%global aerospace growth in 2016. After a lower open, it continued in that direction but found support ahead of its March 24 low ($9.06), only reaching $9,16 before reversing course. It has now battled back above Monday;;s low $9,43, but is still quite some distance from Monday's close of $9.74.
