Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) shares are trading higher by $0.46 at $97.10 in Wednesday's session. The disclosure that Carl Icahn had sold 13 percent of his stake in his latest 13-F filing exerted selling pressure on the issue in the pre-market and for the early part of today's session.

However, the rally in the broad market has lifted the issue into the $97 handle. At this time, it is approaching the upper-end of its 15-day trading range since its Q3 report on January 26. That stands at its January 29 high ($97.34). At this time, the high for the day in Apple rests at $97.31.
