Ameren Illinois Company Declares Preferred Dividends

The board of directors of Ameren Illinois Company, a subsidiary of Ameren Corporation

, today declared a dividend on all series of its preferred stock. The preferred share dividend is payable Feb. 1, 2011, to shareholders of record on Jan. 10, 2011. For its preferred stock of the 4.08% series, 4.20% series, 4.26% series, 4.42% series, 4.70% series and 7.75% series, the dividend will be a quarterly dividend for the period from Nov. 1, 2010, to Feb. 1, 2011. For its preferred stock of the 4.00% series, 4.25% series, 4.90% series, 4.92% series, 5.16% series and 6.625% series, the dividend will be for a period of 31 days from Dec. 31, 2010, to Feb. 1, 2011. Ameren Illinois Company expects to declare dividends on its preferred stock so that, after Feb. 1, 2011, quarterly dividends on all series of its preferred stock will be payable on the same date.
