General Motors (
GM) says it sees March sales of its more fuel-efficient cars coming in above 100,000 units, a record. The company reported Monday that sales of of its Chevrolet Cruze, Malibu, Impala, Camaro and eight other models rated 30 miles per gallon or better on the highway represent about 40% of vehicles sold last month. That's up from 16% three years ago. The group includes the GMC Terrain SUV and GM's plug-in hybrid electric Chevy Volt.
