Uranium One, Inc.

was the another active gainer and added 0.12 (4.12%) to C$3.03 with more than 6.34 million shares exchanged hands, compared to its average volume of 3.38 million shares. Uranium One Inc., along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of properties for the production of uranium in Kazakhstan, the United States, Australia and Canada. Barrick Gold Corp.

was another notable active stock with the stock closing higher by 1.89 (3.89%) to C$50.50 as the price of Gold soared over 3% to closed above $1,750 an ounce. Osisko Mining Corp.

climbed 0.51 (4.23%) to C$12.56 after Pershimco Resources Inc. announce that it has received final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange in connection with the joint venture agreement with Osisko Mining Corporation ("Osisko") on the Courville Gold Project.
