Tesla Inc's TSLA sentry mode has been helpful in many cases, usually when the owner comes back to their vehicle and finds damage done while they were gone. But this time the owner was present when sentry mode came in handy.
An owner told Electrek of an assault suffered at a Tesla charging station. The entire assault was recorded by the owners of the Tesla as it happened.
Tesla vehicle owner Mathew Lambert arrived at the charging station at a mall in Manresa, Spain, and found two gas-powered vehicles blocking the chargers. He asked the owner of one of the vehicles if they could move so he could plug in his car, and the owner complied.

Later, the owner of the other gasoline car came out, and Lambert told the owner he shouldn't park in that spot, as it's reserved for EV charging specifically. The owner then started to leave and gave the Tesla owner the middle finger. He then tried to drive over the Tesla vehicle owner and grabbed a tool from the trunk of his car.
The Tesla owner was able to defend himself and call the police. The police told the owner that the man was arrested later that day. Lambert said he pressed charges, and there will be a trial.
