Adobe Releases PDF Creation Application for iOS

Adobe released Monday a Portable Document Format creation tool for iOS devices that allows users to create PDF documents on their iPhone, iPod touch, or iPads.

The application, named Adobe CreatePDF, offers the same high-quality PDF creation tools as Adobe Acrobat keeping consistent conversion that allows the document to be viewed anywhere. The iOS application will convert multiple formats including Microsoft Office formats, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign formats. In addition, the application will convert images and text documents in JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF, RTF, Text, WordPerfect, OpenOffice and StarOffice.

Adobe CreatePDF is now available in the iTunes App Store for a pricey $9.99. The application is universal allowing full support for iPhones, iPod touches and iPads.
