From an investment perspective, however, RUM stock has been unambiguously choppy. Further, the security features a negative bias. Nevertheless, under extreme selling pressure, behavioral dynamics shift from fear to greed, making Rumble an enticingly speculative wager.
Last month, the social media specialist inked a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/movers/24/12/42650642/rumble-stock-is-ripping-higher-monday-whats-going-on">strategic investment deal</a> with a blockchain enterprise. That announcement quickly skyrocketed RUM stock. Soon enough, though, questions emerged about the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/RUM/earnings">valuation</a> of the underlying company. The business doesn't generate earnings and its sales growth has noticeably slowed in recent quarters. Not surprisingly, investors took issue with the heightened risk profile and bailed out.
The results have been ugly, to say the least. For the business week ending Jan. 10 (comparing Monday's open to Friday's close), RUM stock lost 19.65%. At the time of writing, it's down more than 6% as the bulls desperately attempt to cling to the $10 support level. Still, once this week's tug-of-war is in the books, there may be a solid chance that RUM stages a recovery attempt.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Behavioral Shifts Under Pressure Bode Well for RUM Stock</h2>
As stated earlier, RUM stock features a negative bias. For example, on a sequential week-to-week basis, there's about a 47% chance that an investor will see a positive return. When viewed on a four-week basis, the odds of a positive return dip slightly to 46%. Therefore, without any other context, it's best to avoid excessive long exposure to Rumble stock.
However, this framework changes dramatically when the security faces substantial selling pressure or extreme fear. Statistically, following a one-week loss of 10% or greater, RUM stock tends to rise by the end of the fourth subsequent week, with the odds of a positive return reaching 66.7%.
To be fair, applying conditional or dynamic probabilities dramatically limits the size of the dataset. Nevertheless, a clear trend can be established. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Several Call Spread Ideas Beckon</h2>
Using last Friday's closing price of $10.96 as an anchor point, traders can plot their options strategies. Arguably the most aggressive trade available will target the third week following a 10% weekly loss. Given the median positive return of 27.83%, RUM stock could possibly reach $14.01 by the options chain expiring Jan. 31. Interestingly, this target corresponds with a key technical resistance level.

To no surprise, market makers are currently offering gargantuan payouts for <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/money/bull-spread">bull call spreads</a> with the short (second leg) strike price of $14. At the moment, the biggest payout stems from the 12.50/14.00 call spread (buy the $12.50 call, simultaneously sell the $14 call).
On any given three-week period, RUM stock features a median positive return of 7.01%. This stochastic projection implies an upside target of $11.74. More conservative speculators could potentially split the difference between stochastic and dynamic price projections and aim for a bull call spread (again expiring Jan. 31) that features a short leg strike of $12.50.
Finally, traders who want to wait out the early noise in RUM stock may target the options chain expiring Feb. 7. Here, the dynamic price projection calls for an 8.68% median positive return, meaning that RUM may reach $11.91. In that case, an 11/12 bull call spread offers a big payout and a relatively lengthy runway for the hypothesis to pan out.

Boeing Co (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BA#NYSE">BA</a>) stock is trading lower following <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/01/n42979512/boeing-announces-fourth-quarter-deliveries" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">fourth-quarter delivery numbers</a>. The company reported 57 commercial airplanes delivered in the quarter.

The Arlington County, Virginia-based company delivered <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/movers/24/12/42562919/whats-going-on-with-boeing-shares-wednesday" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">13 commercial planes</a> in November 2024, down from 56 a year ago and 14 in October 2024 due to production halts.

The 2024 annual deliveries of 348 surpassed <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color/24/10/41257193/boeings-october-deliveries-expected-to-plummet-amid-strike-challenges-analyst" rel="noreferrer noopener">RBC and consensus estimates</a> of 325.
Boeing disclosed defense, space &amp; security deliveries of 36 for the quarter and 112 for the year.
The stock plunged over 17% in the last 12 months and 49% in the previous five years <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/24/10/41236652/boeing-hit-with-737-safety-alert-issues-deliveries-warning-as-strike-continues" rel="noreferrer noopener">as it grappled</a> with safety issues, the pandemic,&nbsp;leadership overhauls, and more.
The company&#8217;s problems <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/01/42942232/boeing-stock-wiped-out-47-of-investor-wealth-over-the-last-5-years-amid-multiple-issues-now-this-expert-suggests-a-breakup-could-benefit-the-airplane-maker" rel="noreferrer noopener">began in 2018</a> when a Boeing aircraft drowned in the sea off the coast of Indonesia.
In January 2024, a door panel flew off an Alaska Airlines plane manufactured by Boeing, prompting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to cap Boeing&#8217;s 737 MAX <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/05/38992323/boeing-stock-falls-as-cfo-forecasts-negative-cash-flow-delivery-delays-amid-regulatory-scrutiny" rel="noreferrer noopener">production at&nbsp;38 planes monthly</a>.
The 2020 pandemic further added to the crisis.

Boeing also recuperated from a seven-week strike<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/12/42546755/boeing-resumes-production-of-767-and-777-aircraft-after-seven-weeks-long-machinists-strike-comes-to-an-end" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> in December</a>, which affected its cash flow and the production of key aircraft models.

Boeing Reports 348 Planes Delivered In 2024, Beats Estimates Despite Production Challenges

Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/META#NASDAQ">META</a>) shares are trading lower. The company on Tuesday announced performance-based job cuts that could impact about 5% of the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/10/41377833/meta-cuts-jobs-in-whatsapp-instagram-and-reality-labs-in-latest-reorganization">company&#8217;s total workforce</a>.
What Happened: According to a Bloomberg <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-01-14/meta-is-planning-to-cut-5-of-lowest-performers-memo-shows?srnd=homepage-americas&amp;embedded-checkout=true">report</a> citing an internal memo to employees, Meta is cutting approximately 5% of its 72,000 workers based on performance. 
&#8220;I've decided to raise the bar on performance management and move out low-performers faster," Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg reportedly said in an internal memo.
"We typically manage out people who aren't meeting expectations over the course of a year &#8230; but now we're going to do more extensive performance-based cuts during this cycle."
Meta dubbed 2023 the company&#8217;s &#8220;year of efficiency&#8221; as it slashed jobs in an effort to cut costs. This time around, the job cuts appear to be aimed at strengthening the company for what Zuckerberg expects will be an &#8220;intense year&#8221; focused on AI, smart glasses and social media innovations. 
Meta said U.S. employees impacted by the performance cuts will be notified by Feb. 10 and be eligible for &#8220;generous severance.&#8221; Employees outside of the U.S. are expected to be notified at a later date. 
META Price Action: <a href="http://benzinga.com/quote/meta">Meta Platforms shares</a> were down 1.8% at $597.40 at the time of publication, according to <a href="http://pro.benzinga.com">Benzinga Pro</a>.

Meta Platforms Announces Performance-Based Job Cuts: What's Going On?

Genius Group Ltd (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GNS#NASDAQ">GNS</a>) shares are trading higher by 9.86% to 66 cents during Tuesday&#8217;s session after the company announced a $33 million rights offering to increase its Bitcoin treasury.
What To Know: Genius Group says shareholders as of January 24, will receive one transferable right per share, allowing them to purchase additional shares at 50 cents each. 
Proceeds from the fully subscribed offering will be used to increase the company&#8217;s Bitcoin holdings from $35 million to $68 million. Genius Group also plans to secure up to $20 million in additional loans, potentially expanding its Bitcoin Treasury to $86 million. 
Additionally, Founder and CEO Roger Hamilton intends to acquire 500,000 additional shares, bringing his stake to 10.3%, and fully participate in the offering.
