Analysts expect Salesforce Inc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CRM#NYSE">CRM</a>) to post revenue of $9.35 billion for the third quarter <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings">after market close Tuesday</a>.
That&#8217;s up from $8.72 billion in last year's third quarter, according to data<a href="https://bzresearch.myclickfunnels.com/benzinga-pro-content-webinar-registration/?utm_source=BZprocontent120224&amp;t=be2bearmibe3na1"> from Benzinga Pro.</a>
The cloud-based software company beat revenue estimates in the second quarter. It has beaten analyst estimates in nine of the past 10 quarters overall.
Analysts anticipate Salesforce&#8217;s third-quarter earnings per share to be $2.44, up from $2.11 in last year's third quarter. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in more than 10 straight quarters.
Guidance <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/24/08/40612926/salesforce-q2-earnings-revenue-beat-eps-beat-reimagining-enterprise-software-with-ai-cfo-transition">from the company</a> calls for third-quarter revenue to be in a range of $9.31 billion to $9.36 billion. Earnings per share should fall between $2.42 to $2.44.

What Analysts Are Saying: Salesforce has two more quarterly results to report for fiscal 2025. 
"F2026 is shaping up to be an important transitional year for CRM as it executes on laying the groundwork to bring AI agents to the enterprise masses with new pricing and packaging offers that could better position the company for a F2027 rebound," Piper Sandler analyst Brent Bracelin said.
Bracelin maintained an Overweight rating and raised the price target from $325 to $395 in a new investor note.
There could be some downside risk to fiscal 2026 revenue estimates, he added. But free cash flow growth could be a key moving forward. Pressure includes macroeconomic concerns, budget battles for customers, AI experimentation and longer sales cycles.
"Investor sentiment has clearly improved with CRM shares +30% in the last three-months. We would look to opportunistically add to positions on potential pullbacks."
Needham analyst Scott Berg maintained a Buy rating and $345 price target on Salesforce ahead of the third-quarter financial results.
"We expect CRM to report modest upside during third quarter as we believe the overall demand environment showed signs of subtle improvement versus last quarter," Berg said.
The analyst expects a "marginal upside" in the third quarter after a second-quarter report mostly in line. Positive pipeline trends have been driven by Agentforce, which will be a main topic of discussion from the company, Berg added. &nbsp;
"We expect strength in the quarter to be driven by the continued ramp of Data Cloud, which could gain a tailwind from the recently released Agentforce solution."
Berg said Agentforce could drive incremental sales to sales and services and the demand for the product could help re-accelerate subscription revenue growth.
Price Action: Salesforce stock was down 0.11% from $331.01 in pre-market trading Tuesday versus a 52-week trading range of $212 to $348.86. Salesforce stock is up 29% year-to-date in 2024.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared emergency martial law in the country Tuesday, sending ETFs covering the country's stock market down Tuesday <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/premarket">in early U.S. trading.</a>
What Happened: Yoon declared "emergency martial law" Tuesday <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/south-korea">for South Korea</a>, accusing the country's opposition of sympathizing with North Korea and taking part in anti-state activities.
Yoon also accused the country's opposition of controlling the parliament, as <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/south-korean-president-declares-emergency-martial-law-accusing-116404418">reported </a>by ABC News.
The announced emergency martial law was declared by Yoon during a televised briefing. The South Korean president promised to "eradicate pro-North Korean forces and protect the constitutional democratic order."
Yoon's conservative People Power Party has struggled against the liberal opposition Democratic Party since taking office in 2022. The opposition party controls parliament.
The South Korean president's approval rating has fallen in recent months as he struggles to push his agenda through parliament.
A budget bill has been stuck in parliament as a result of the battle between the two parties, the report said.
Yoon has also fought off calls for independent investigations into alleged scandals that involve top officials and his wife, upsetting his political rivals.
Following Yoon's announcement, South Korea's Democratic Party called an emergency meeting for its lawmakers.

South Korean ETFs Slide On President's Emergency Martial Law Declaration: 'Protect The Constitutional Democratic Order'

On Tuesday,&nbsp;Coherus BioSciences, Inc.&nbsp;(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CHRS#NASDAQ">CHRS</a>) entered into an asset purchase agreement with Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd for the divestiture of the Udenyca (pegfilgrastim-cbqv) franchise for <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/12/g42286067/coherus-announces-agreement-to-divest-udenyca-franchise-for-up-to-558-million-to-intas-pharmaceuti" rel="noreferrer noopener">up to $558.4 million</a>.
The deal consideration includes an upfront payment of $483.4 million, to be adjusted for inventory at the close, and $75 million in potential net sales milestone payments.
Coherus plans to use a portion of the transaction proceeds to fully repay the company&#8217;s $230 million in existing convertible notes due April 2026 and $49.1 million to buy out certain royalty obligations related to Udenyca.
&#8220;The proposed divestiture of Udenyca represents the successful execution of our strategy to focus R&amp;D and commercial resources on Coherus&#8217; innovative immuno-oncology portfolio and to strengthen our financial position,&#8221; said Denny Lanfear, Coherus chairman and chief executive officer.
The proposed transaction is expected to close by the end of Q1 2025.
Coherus intends to strengthen and sharpen its focus on advancing its immuno-oncology portfolio in combination with Loqtorzi, a next-generation, differentiated PD-1 marketed in the U.S. in two indications.
Additional partnerships evaluating Loqtorzi with other cancer agents are planned for 2025.
The company plans to initiate a Phase 2 trial of casdozokitug/toripalimab/bevacizumab in first-line (1L) hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in Q4 2024, with final data from Phase 2 trial of casdozokitug/atezolizumab/bevacizumab in 1L HCC in Q1 2025, and data from its Phase 1 study of casdozokitug/toripalimab in second to fourth line (2-4L) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in 1H 2025.
Coherus plans to:

Earlier this year, Coherus BioSciences divested its Cimerli ophthalmology franchise to&nbsp;Sandoz Group AG&nbsp;(OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SDZNY#OTC">SDZNY</a>)&nbsp;(OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SDZXF#OTC">SDZXF</a>)&nbsp;for $170 million plus an&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/biotech/24/01/36716756/why-is-cancer-immunotherapy-focused-coherus-biosciences-stock-trading-higher-today" rel="noreferrer noopener">additional amount for inventory</a>.

What Else: Purple Biotech entered a definitive agreement to sell 472,668 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) at $6.00 per ADS in a registered direct offering. The offering, led by H.C. Wainwright &amp; Co., is expected to close on December 4, subject to customary conditions.
The company anticipates gross proceeds of approximately $2.8 million, which will support the development of its oncology therapies and general corporate needs. Purple Biotech says the company is meanwhile focused on innovative treatments addressing tumor immune evasion and drug resistance.

Citi Trends, Inc&nbsp;(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CTRN#NASDAQ">CTRN</a>)&nbsp;stock is trading higher premarket Tuesday after the company&nbsp;reported <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/12/b42285939/citi-trends-announces-third-quarter-fiscal-2024-results" rel="noreferrer noopener">third-quarter results</a>.
The company reported quarterly sales of $179.1 million, which decreased by 0.3% year-on-year,&nbsp;beating the Wall Street consensus of $178.5 million.
Gross margin stood at 39.8%, compared to 38.2% in the same period last year, due to markup expansion and a 40 basis point improvement in shrink results from the impact of mitigation efforts.

Citi Trends reported an adjusted loss per share of $(0.78), compared to the consensus loss of $(0.75).
The company closed four stores, ending the quarter with 593 locations.
Citi Trends had cash of $38.9 million at quarter-end, with no debt and no borrowings under a $75 million credit facility.
The company did not repurchase any shares in the third quarter. As of the end of the quarter, $50 million remained available under the share repurchase program. It expects to resume share repurchase activity in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024.
On Nov. 18, Citi Trends named Kenneth (Ken) Seipel as the permanent CEO, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/11/b42058328/citi-trends-announces-ceo-appointment-and-q3-comparable-store-sales-above-guidance" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">who had been</a> serving as interim chief since June.
Outlook:&nbsp;Citi Trends expects low to mid-single-digit comparable store sales in the fourth quarter, with total sales down mid-single digits.
The company anticipates a flat to down low-single digits&nbsp;(<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/24/08/40575508/citi-trends-shares-plunge-following-inventory-issues-and-q2-miss-details" rel="noreferrer noopener">prior mid-single-digit decline</a>) in the second half of fiscal 2024 sales due to the 53rd week of&nbsp;last year and store closures.
For the second half of 2024, the company expects comparable store sales to be low to mid-single digits (prior flat or increase by low single digits) compared to the second half of fiscal 2023.
Citi Trends stock has fallen over 26% year-to-date as the company struggled to clear its inventory, which has led to store closures.

Huron Acquires AXIA Consulting To Enhance Supply Chain Capabilities And Technology Solutions; No Financial Terms Disclosed

Shimmick Corporation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SHIM#NASDAQ">SHIM</a>) shares are surging premarket on Tuesday. On Monday, the company secured a $45.4 million contract to perform seismic retrofitting and upgrades on the Murray Street Bridge at <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/12/g42276548/shimmick-awarded-45-4m-murray-street-bridge-project-in-santa-cruz" rel="noreferrer noopener">Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor</a>.
The project aims to enhance seismic resilience and improve accessibility for cyclists and pedestrians. It will involve installing new piles, extended pile caps, columns, and bent caps.
The company stated that the upgrades will include wider bike lanes, a dedicated sidewalk on the south side, and the replacement of concrete barriers with see-through rails to enhance views of the harbor and ocean while ensuring safety.
