<li>Bought Visa Inc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/V#NYSE">V</a>): Bought Visa stock five transactions, meaning a total of $5,000 to $75,000 in stock.</li>

Many of the buys and sells cover the technology sector with some buying of blue-chip names like Johnson &amp; Johnson, Coca-Cola and Berkshire Hathaway.

Why It's Important: Gottheimer has made thousands of stock buys and sells in recent years and is one of the most active members of Congress when it comes to his trading activity.
While recent sells could be profit taking or for tax purposes, the timing of selling semiconductor stocks like Nvidia, Taiwan Semiconductor and Broadcom could be questionable given the potential battle with China on export restrictions and new tariffs.
Gottheimer ditched Nvidia and Microsoft stock and chose a different Magnificent 7 stock instead in Tesla. The move will likely be closely followed given Tesla CEO Elon Musk's close working relationship with President Donald Trump, which could lead to favorable contracts and regulation for Tesla.
Gottheimer serves on the Committee on Financial Services, which could make the timing of the purchases of Visa and Mastercard stock questionable also.

A Nevada dairy worker has screened positive for the D1.1 strain of bird flu associated with a Louisiana man's death in January, according to a CNN <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/08/health/bird-flu-variant-nevada-human-case/index.html">report</a>. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is working Monday to confirm<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care/25/02/43549057/deadly-bird-flu-strain-hits-dairy-cows-could-make-covid-seem-like-a-walk-in-the-park-expert-says"> the initial positive test.</a>
The Details: The Nevada dairy worker who has initially tested positive is currently experiencing mild symptoms, including conjunctivitis or "pink eye," which appears to be a common symptom in recent human infections.&nbsp;
Last week, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said six dairy herds in Nevada<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care/25/02/43549057/deadly-bird-flu-strain-hits-dairy-cows-could-make-covid-seem-like-a-walk-in-the-park-expert-says"> tested positive</a> for the D1.1 strain of bird flu, marking the first time the variant of the H5N1 virus was detected in cattle.&nbsp;

The<a href="https://www.cdc.gov/bird-flu/situation-summary/index.html"> current public health</a> risk remains low, according to the CDC. The agency is using flu surveillance systems to monitor for H5 bird flu activity in people.&nbsp;
In January, President Donald Trump <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care/25/01/43194764/trump-administration-halts-all-communications-from-the-centers-for-disease-control-as-bird-flu-spreads">ordered </a>a stop to all communications from CDC. Its website currently displays a banner stating that the site is being "modified to comply with President Trump's Executive Orders."
The CDC resumed publishing its weekly <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/index2025.html?ACSTrackingID=USCDC_921-DM144964&amp;ACSTrackingLabel=This%20Week%20in%20MMWR:%20Vol.%2074,%20February%206,%202025&amp;deliveryName=USCDC_921-DM144964">scientific report</a>, the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, last Thursday after being paused for the previous two weeks.&nbsp;
What Else: The H5N1 avian flu continues to spread in wild bird populations as well as in domestic flocks. As many as 15 birds at the Queens and Bronx zoos died last week as a result of the bird flu and a zoo spokesperson<a href="https://gothamist.com/news/bird-flu-suspected-in-deaths-across-multiple-species-at-queens-and-bronx-zoos"> told</a> Gothamist that "vulnerable bird species&#8221; have been moved to protected areas as vets work with city, state and federal regulators.&nbsp;
New York Governor Kathy Hochul has ordered live poultry markets in New York City, Westchester and Long Island to close after several bird flu cases were detected in Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx last week.&nbsp;
According to the National Emerging Special Pathogens Training &amp; Education Center, more than 60 million poultry have died or<a href="https://netec.org/2023/01/30/situation-report-highly-pathogenic-avian-influenza-ah5n1/"> been culled</a> due to bird flu since the outbreak began in 2022. More than 20 million egg-laying chickens were culled in the last quarter of 2024 alone, creating a large impact on the U.S. poultry industry.&nbsp;
Stocks To Watch: With another human case of bird flu likely having been detected, investors may want to monitor the following stocks that are connected with bird flu vaccines.
Moderna Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MRNA#NASDAQ">MRNA</a>) in January received an additional $590 million award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to accelerate the development of its mRNA-based influenza vaccines, including bird flu.
GSK Plc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GSK#NYSE">GSK</a>), which acquired full rights to the bird flu vaccine candidate from CureVac BV (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CVAC#NASDAQ">CVAC</a>) in July 2024, has initiated a Phase I/II study on its development. Novavax Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NVAX#NASDAQ">NVAX</a>) also has bird flu vaccine candidates in clinical trials.

The Details:&nbsp;HubSpot&nbsp;reported quarterly earnings of&nbsp;$2.32&nbsp;per share, beating the&nbsp;$2.19 analysts consensus estimate. Quarterly revenue came in at $703.17 million, beating the $673.32 million consensus estimate.

On January 30, Super Micro CEO Charles Liang <a target="_blank" href="https://x.com/charlesliang/status/1885087135922847978" rel="noreferrer noopener">tweeted</a> about expanding its partnership with Elon Musk&#8217;s AI startup,&nbsp;xAI.
On Tuesday, Super Micro reported <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/02/43646949/supermicro-sees-conservative-40-billion-revenue-target-despite-auditor-exit-stocks-50-slide" rel="noreferrer noopener">preliminary second-quarter</a> revenue of $5.6 billion—$5.7 billion (below the $5.89 billion consensus), up 54%.&nbsp;
The company cut its fiscal year 2025 guidance to $23.5 billion—$25 billion from its previous forecast of $26 billion—$30 billion (versus the $24.92 billion consensus). It projected fiscal year 2026 revenue of $40 billion versus the $29.92 billion consensus.
The company expects to file&nbsp;its delayed annual and quarterly reports to the U.S. SEC <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/02/43651025/smci-climbs-66-in-wednesday-pre-market-whats-going-on" rel="noreferrer noopener">by the deadline</a>.
Analysts rerated the stock upon the results.

<li>JP Morgan analyst Samik Chatterjee maintained Super Micro with an Underweight and raised the price target from $23 to $35.</li>

Wedbush: Super Micro&#8217;s softer, uninspiring results, the vision of a significantly more robust future, and plans to file its financials before the deadline should reduce uncertainty.
Bryson expects the business to expand considerably in the first half of 2026. However, he is also hesitant to model as aggressively as management forecasts.
JP Morgan: Despite the near-term softness, Super Micro surprised with an updated full-year guide, which implied a strong revenue inflection that the company expects will start a robust AI server revenue cycle.
The price target boost reflects increased conviction from the management team to meet regulatory deadlines.
Needham: Super Micro&#8217;s preliminary revenue and gross margin results fell slightly short of expectations as customers waited to order new Blackwell systems and aggressive pricing on Hopper products.
Bolton maintained his suspended rating as he awaited the filing of the annual and quarterly reports.

The Details: The San Francisco-based company reported quarterly losses of 3 cents per share. That&#8217;s down from earnings of 1 cent in the prior year&#8217;s quarter. Quarterly revenue came in at $140.58 million, beating the $138.27 million analyst consensus estimate.

<li>Security revenue was $103 million, representing 11% year-over-year growth. </li>
