Migao Corporation Completes $40.30 Million Bought Deal Financing

Migao Corporation (TSX:MGO), a China-based leading specialty potash fertilizer producer, is pleased to announce the successful closing today of its previously announced bought deal prospectus offering with a syndicate of underwriters co-led by CIBC World Markets Inc. and Canaccord Capital Corporation, and including GMP Securities L.P., Dundee Securities Corporation, Jennings Capital Inc., Research Capital Corporation, UBS Securities Canada Inc. and Wellington West Capital Markets Inc.
Pursuant to the offering, 5,681,000 common shares of Migao, including the underwriters' fully exercised over-allotment option to purchase an additional 741,000 common shares, were issued at a price of $7.10 per common share for aggregate gross proceeds of $40,335,100. Net proceeds are $38,318,345 after the underwriters' commission but before other offering expenses.
Migao intends to use the net proceeds of the offering, together with cash on hand and internally generated cash flows, to fund construction, land acquisition and development for specialty potash or related fertilizer manufacturing capacity in China and/or Southeast Asia and the balance for working capital and general corporate purposes. The development of additional manufacturing capacity is intended to allow Migao to expand its business.
