Sustainable Energy Partners With changetec GmbH to Enter German Solar Market

FREIBERG, GERMANY--(Marketwire - March 15, 2010) - Sustainable Energy Technologies Ltd (TSX VENTURE:STG) ("Sustainable Energy") announced today that it has agreed to supply changetec GmbH ("Change Tec"), a German solar distributor, with an initial 2 MW of SUNERGY ELV (extra low voltage) solar inverters for distribution under private label to the German solar market in 2010.

changetec is part of the SolarConsult AG, group of companies, the leading German solution provider for low voltage systems with more than 1800 systems installed across Germany.

First deliveries under this contract are expected to begin in the next two months. In addition to distributing SUNERGY inverters, changetec will provide after-sales support and repair services for all SUNERGY Low Voltage (LV) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) inverters distributed by Sustainable Energy and its other German partners in Germany.

The SUNERGY LV and ELV inverter platform enables solar PV panels to operate at their optimum power output in "parallel" with other panels within the system.

With system operating voltages set to the inherently low voltages of the solar PV panels, the parallel system architecture eliminates the risk of serious injury making it the ideal solution for applications where public safety is a concern.

A parallel system design also increases total system power output from 5% - 15% depending on site conditions, and eliminates the need for site specific custom design, allowing systems to be designed and installed by mainstream building trades.

Sustainable Energy's patented technologies enable the parallel system architecture in higher power ratings using an industry standard form factor and at a cost and efficiency that ranks with the leading conventional solar inverters.
