Founded in 1995 by Dr. Joseph Silberman, the focus of Evanston Dental Associates has always been to provide comfort and convenience for patients while providing the highest level of dental care to patients. Dr. Silberman, principal of Evanston Dental Associates, was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University in 1985, graduating with honors. After practicing dentistry on New York's Upper East Side, Dr. Silberman moved to Illinois, where he has been an Evanston dentist since 1992 and was the first General Dentist on the North Shore to incorporate using a microscope while treating his patients.

Dr. Silberman is committed to staying up to date on the latest advances in dental treatments and techniques through ongoing continuing education. In addition to completing the curriculum offered by the world-renowned Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, he has completed courses in periodontics, orthodontics, occlusion, endodontics, dental sleep medicine, implants, and cosmetic dentistry. In July of 2022, he was awarded a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, and Dr. Silberman is on staff at Evanston Hospital where he instructs dental residents on procedures and treatment options so they can be the best dentist they can be.

This affiliation continues the rapid growth and momentum for the organization and brings DCA's footprint in the Midwest to 51 allied practices, and DCA's total footprint to over 390 allied practices across the US.
