Baker College Lowers Graduate Program Tuition Rates for 2023-2024; Introduces First-Ever Federal Student Loan Options at St. Francis School of Law

ROYAL OAK, Mich. and NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (PRWEB) March 21, 2023

Following an announcement earlier this month regarding a freeze on all undergraduate program tuition rates for 2023-2024, Baker College is pleased to now announce further additions to its affordability and accessibility initiatives.

Baker College, one of Michigan's largest, private nonprofit colleges and the top private transfer school in the state, is announcing a reduction to graduate school tuition rates for 2023-2024. Additionally, St. Francis School of Law, an online law school and wholly-owned division of Baker College, is now able to provide students with access to financial assistance, in the form of federal student loans, for the first time since its founding in 2011.

Some of the programs included in the graduate-level tuition reductions at Baker College are: MBA (Master of Business Administration), MSN (Master of Science in Nursing), DBA (Doctorate of Business Administration) and the school's unique DBA-ABD (Doctorate of Business Administration-All But Dissertation) degrees. Graduate and doctoral programs are all available online, while the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) is held at the new Royal Oak campus.

The reduced graduate tuition is part of Baker College's, "Student First" philosophy, designed to address barriers in higher education. Depending on the program, Baker College graduate students enrolling for the 2023-2024 academic year may see a reduction of anywhere from $95 to $165 per credit hour, ideally making it easier to pursue an advanced degree.

"The opportunity to pursue a graduate degree can make all the difference in the world for career advancement and professional achievement," said Susan Gunn, Baker College provost and vice president of academic affairs. "Baker College's graduate programs provide students with the advanced skills and competitive edge needed to open doors to top leadership positions and entrepreneurial pursuits."

Baker College graduate degree programs are accepting applications and enrolling students now for the 2023-2024 academic year. For interested students, contact Graduate Enrollment Advisor, Tom Lale 833-541-0078, thomas.lale@baker.edu.

Beyond recent commitments to freeze 2023-2024 undergraduate tuition rates and reduce graduate tuition costs at Baker College, the school's online law school division, St. Francis School of Law, also is now able to offer access to federal loans, helping to ensure more students can financially obtain their educational goals.

With administrative headquarters based in Newport Beach, Calif., St. Francis School of Law is a 100-percent online, nonprofit law school, accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California. Upon completion of the four-year, part-time program, graduates of St. Francis earn a Juris Doctor degree and qualify to sit for the California Bar Exam.

"Although tuition rates at St. Francis remain affordable for a law school at $13,000 per year, it's not uncommon for students to need some additional form of financial assistance to cover the cost of their degree," said Linda Katrinic, Baker College's vice president for financial aid. "Having access to federal student loans is a wonderful addition, and will definitely open the door for students who need the additional assistance to achieve their law degree."
