PHOENIX (PRWEB) September 21, 2022

RunBuggy OMI Inc., the leading technology platform that connects car shippers and transporters, announced today it has added Steve Greenfield to its Advisory Board. RunBuggy has been rapidly increasing its market share and customer base over the past 12 months and is adding Mr. Greenfield to help drive the company's aggressive growth strategy.

"RunBuggy has one of the most advanced and robust technology platforms available in the automotive logistics industry today," said Greenfield. "I look forward to working with the management team to lend my 20+ years in the automotive technology space to help further expand their growth potential."

Greenfield started his career in 1999 selling software to car dealers and has overseen more than $1 billion in automotive technology acquisitions. He previously served as TrueCar's Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, and AutoTrader.com's Vice President of Product Management and Business Development, overseeing the acquisitions of vAuto, Kelley Blue Book, HomeNet Automotive, VinSolutions, and DealerScience. Earlier in his career, he served as Manheim's Director of International Development, spearheading Manheim's overseas investments, including establishing new joint ventures in Dubai, Istanbul, and Beijing.

Mr. Greenfield's company, Automotive Ventures, provides venture capital to automotive entrepreneurs driving the next wave of innovation in automotive and mobility technology.

"Steve is one of the most prolific and respected voices in the automotive industry," said Kevin Malik, CEO of RunBuggy. "We're honored that he chose to join our Advisory Board and believe his keen insight and knowledge of our industry will add immediate value to our growth plans."

RunBuggy, which launched in 2018 with a mission to simplify car shipping, announced late last year that they appointed Jim Lentz, former CEO of Toyota North America to its Board of Directors. In June, the company secured a Series A investment led by a syndicate including the Larry H. Miller Company, Porsche Ventures, and Hearst Ventures. The company has built one of the world's largest digitally enabled carrier networks and transformed automotive transportation logistics management for thousands of shippers and haulers. To date, Runbuggy has signed up more than 17,000 drivers to its platform, delivered to 100,000+ unique addresses, and has reduced the average time to deliver a vehicle by more than 50%.
