Books often take a reader on exciting journeys to faraway lands. Readers can join the protagonists as they travel to Arizona, Rome, New York City, southern France, ancient Peru, and an underground base on the Martian moon of Phobos as they attempt to find a golden disc and complete a divinely ordained task to save humanity in Charles David Grotsky's new book.

In "The Domain of Arrogance," Grotsky showcases years of research, delving into both scientific exploration and the culture and history of various groups of peoples. The novel contains dialogue written in the ancient Incan language, as well as Hopi Indian. It includes a deep dive into an "Eco Farm," with detailed descriptions of hydroponics, aquaponics and aeroponics. All this set amongst a story detailing the search for a sacred artifact lost in time, involving teleportation tunnels, the Antichrist, and a hidden agenda of the Earth's most powerful residents.

"I wanted to write an engaging novel to entertain readers," said Grotsky, "while also educating them about many things, both secular and spiritual. There is a deeply spiritual side to all existence."

The main character in "The Domain of Arrogance" runs the FBI's Missing Persons division in Phoenix, Ariz., investigating the disappearance of nearly 1,000 people in four Southwestern states, one of which is her twin sister. After she meets an archeologist, they learn that God, unhappy with mankind, has sent a blue comet to destroy the earth, but has offered one chance of redemption and set a nearly impossible task; to place a golden disc on the outstretched left hand of a tall, gilded statue of Mother Mary atop a cathedral in Avignon, France. The golden disc must be found in one month's time. Once the disc is in place, God will redirect the comet, saving mankind.
