Recent release "The Dog That Lives on the Moon" from Page Publishing author Armando Gonzalez is a captivating work that explores questions like, "Is there life after death?" and, "Where is the Rainbow Bridge?" through the eyes of a Chihuahua/cairn terrier named Sugar.

PRESCOTT, Ariz., Sept. 27, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Armando Gonzalez, a retired schoolteacher who lives in Prescott, Arizona, with his dog, Scout, has completed his new book "The Dog That Lives on the Moon": a unique and intriguing story about a Chihuahua/cairn terrier named Sugar. This imaginative work shares the story of Sugar's life on earth, as well as her spiritual life on the moon.

Sugar's earthly life consists of living with two humans and sharing adventures with them, as well as with other dogs, including her enemies, Ash Lee and Gypsy, two cats who live with her at the Del Mar Apartments.

After Sugar's death, her adventures continue, but with a little more spice. She goes to live on the moon where she meets Cochie, Cutie, Thunder, Kingston, and Skeeter, each with their own stories.

Author Armando Gonzalez begins his story, writing, "I knew that on this Valentine's Day, I was going to die, and I didn't even live in Chicago. I woke up feeling very sick, hurting, coughing, weak and could hardly breathe. I should have died long before, but my masters would have none of it, and I had to endure. I was twelve years old and had been sick for a while. By now I was blind, arthritic and had a liver disease that kept me bloated and swollen that had I been human, I would have been a cross between Elvis Presley (the old Elvis) and Ray Charles. My disease attacked, slowly at first, but there came the point where I was so debilitated I just couldn't live anymore. When they took me to my veterinarian, Dr. Carney, he agreed."

Published by Page Publishing, Armando Gonzalez's engrossing tale grips the heart of the reader, leaving them with an entirely new perspective on the lives of their pets.
