Pulseway release 8.50 includes a significant re-imagining of Network Monitoring, new search capabilities and other significant usability improvements.

DUBLIN (PRWEB) August 11, 2022

Pulseway - the leading provider of mobile-first remote monitoring and management (RMM) software - has announced a major new release that delivers on its mission to help users work smarter.

At the heart of the release is Pulseway Network Monitoring 2.0. This has been designed to provide new levels of visibility and control over all servers, workstations and network devices with a totally new interactive, customizable auto-generated topology map. The extensive customization capabilities allow users rearrange and label the map to match local documentation standards.

In addition to graphically alerting users to issues and new devices being added, users can immediately respond by sending SSH commands to devices directly from the map. The alerts can be configured and managed with new centrally configurable SNMP profiles.

The power of Pulseway automation is now extended to network devices by using SNMP alerts to trigger automated workflows which can execute SSH commands or other standard workflow actions.

"Pulseway is dedicated to making the day-to-day life of our users easier and the new topology map is a great example of this," said Marius Mihalec, founder and CEO of Pulseway. "In addition to providing a comprehensive, visual representation of the network, the enhanced SNMP alerting extends the power of Pulseway across all devices."

In order to make Pulseway users more effective and efficient by helping them quickly find the information they need, this release includes significant new search functionality. Quick search will allow users to search for systems from anywhere in the product, while advanced search offers a more detailed search that displays system data in a configurable tabular format.

Recent releases have included ongoing enhancements to Pulseway's native Remote Control capabilities and this continues with 8.5. In addition to usability improvements, it now supports Private Remote Desktop (RDP) sessions using fully proprietary Pulseway technology. Alternatively users will have a choice of using a secure implementation of the Microsoft RDP client to offer a broad range of remote access options.

Other changes in this release include updates to endpoint policies to simplify configuration, enhancements to third-party application patching including ad-hoc installation, enhanced custom fields and further auditing features.
