The administration has embraced more EV Charging Stations and they are being built everywhere — from a planned tripling in LA County and LAX Airport to a 50% jump at Macy's locations in partnership with Volta. The Federal government's Biden administration is seeking $15 billion for more EV Charging Stations to install 500,000 units, including grants and incentive program. LA County is tripling the number of EV Charging Stations, toward its goal of reaching 60,000 stations installed by 2025. Solar Integrated Roofing Corp. EV Charging Stations are suddenly growing everywhere as state governments and boards see the merit in building a nationwide network of units to reinforce the sale of EV vehicles. Restaurants and retailers see the benefit, hoping EV owners will charge their electric cars while eating or shopping while charging. A partnership of Volta and Macy's will hike EV charging stations locations by 50% this year. Studies show that charging stations drive 41% higher “shop and charge” visits at Macy's stores that have them. The charging units are already located in some 40% of all Macy’s stores to date.

In Los Angeles, the county has voted to triple the number of EV charging stations — including at LAX airport — to 60,000 units by 2025. Meanwhile Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) and General Motors (NYSE:GM) through partnerships an other joint ventures are seeking to also build more EV Charging Stations nationwide.
