The HR Daily Advisor is excited to announce that its award-winning 'HR Works Podcast' has surpassed 1 million listens. Originally launched in 2016, the 'HR Works Podcast' has built a strong audience of HR professionals who listen in biweekly for interviews with HR leaders and innovators within the industry. In 2017, it won the FOLIO: Eddie and Ozzie Awards and has been nominated many times since by the same and other organizations.

"HR Works has been a passion project of mine ever since I took over leadership of the program two years ago," says HR Works Host and HR Daily Advisor editor James Davis. "I've interviewed some of the best and brightest in the field of HR, and it's been an absolute pleasure."

Notable guests to the program have included Miri Rodriguez, Storyteller and Global Head of Internships at Microsoft; Tami Rosen, Chief People Officer at Atlassian; and Montserrat Salvany Ferrer, VP of Human Resources at T-Systems (T-Mobile) North America.

Most recently, the podcast pivoted to cover important guidance for employers regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Since April 2020, there have been 31 special edition episodes providing critical information on how employers have responded to issues such as engaging a remote workforce, returning to work safely, employee testing, remote hiring, and more.

Davis adds, "So many aspects of HR have changed because of the pandemic, so we explore and break them down one week at a time. We weren't sure how many COVID-19 episodes we would do when we first started, but we continue to produce them based on the needs of our audience. It's really offered us the impetus to look at our altered HR world from a number of different directions."

Within the last year, the podcast has also added SHRM recertification credit opportunities as an added benefit to listeners. All episodes of the 'HR Works Podcast' are available via Apple® Podcast, Stitcher, and SoundCloud, in addition to being hosted on the HR Daily Advisor website at https://hrdailyadvisor.blr.com/podcasts/.
