SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) December 03, 2020

USE Credit Union (USECU) has been named to The San Diego Union-Tribune's "Top Midsize Workplaces" list for 2020. USECU, an employer of 190 individuals at eight branches spread throughout California, ranked within the top 15 midsize workplaces. 2020 marks the third year that USECU has been awarded this distinction in San Diego County.

"It's an incredible honor to be recognized again by The San Diego Union-Tribune as a Top Workplace in San Diego County," said Jim Harris, President and Chief Executive Officer at USE Credit Union. "Our team is the strength of our company and I am very proud of the workplace environment that we've fostered throughout our company, especially with all of the challenges 2020 has brought. We're more than just a group of employees – I truly believe we're a family, and that familial connection has brought us closer to each other and to our communities, allowing us to go above and beyond to support each other and our members in their time of need."

The San Diego Union-Tribune partnered with Philadelphia-based company Energage to determine San Diego County's Top Workplaces of 2020. All 2,176 qualifying companies in San Diego County (having at least 50 employees within the county) were invited to take part in the process, including public, private, nonprofit and governmental employers. Employees of nominated companies then filled out a survey questionnaire, which was used to determine the Top Workplaces list. For 2020's list, 70 employers earned recognition as Top Workplaces and were ranked based on their employee survey feedback.

Headquartered in San Diego, USE Credit Union holds community charters in San Diego County, Sacramento County, Yolo County, Alameda County and Santa Clara County, serving members who live, work or worship in any of those five counties, as well as any California state or university employee.
