Citropol® H is a new, patented biorenewable, biodegradable liquid polymer for cosmetics & toiletries applications

WOODBRIDGE, Conn. (PRWEB) November 05, 2020

P2 Science, Inc., a renewable chemistry company, today announced the launch of a brand new, unique, bioderived and patented alternative to 350 cSt dimethicone (silicone) cosmetics fluids. The new ingredient, Citropol® H is part of the innovative, patented Citropol platform. In the webinar attended by formulators and brand marketers from around the world,, P2 demonstrated how Citropol H performs in a vibrant leave-in hair cream, a natural deodorant stick (leaving no film) and a novel whipped body cream. The ingredient will benefit any formulator looking for a smooth, clear and highly functional cosmetics fluid. Citropol H, like all members of the new Citropol platform, is made from a wood feedstock and is biodegradable and biocompatible.

Commercial production of the new product is already underway at P2's start-of-the-art green chemistry manufacturing facility in Naugatuck, CT. Samples and product literature are available now at the company's website, and products can be purchased directly on the company's e-store – also on the website.

"This is our sixth product launch since April and is in direct response to a huge need communicated to us by our customers," said Neil Burns, CEO of P2. "Citropol H is one more safe, bioderived, benign product from P2 that brings the power and elegance of green chemistry directly to the formulator. This new 350 cSt fluid is sure to be a winner based on our own experience formulating with it. We can't wait to hear what the market thinks once samples are in the hands of our customers."

Citropol H is the fifth commercial product to come out of P2's Citropol series. Last month, the company launched Citropol HA – a superior natural 100 cSt liquid polymer.
