Youss Foto Ranked Top Casting Director for Vogue

New York, USA – Vogue Casting recently conducted a survey of more than 500 models to give them the opportunity to rank their favorite Vogue casting directors. Out of all the finalists, Youss Foto was the top-rated casting director. 

Youss Foto is owned and operated by Youssef, a renowned photographer and wildlife advocate. He specializes in fashion, portrait, wildlife, and landscape photography. He has been voted “The World’s Best Photographer” on Bestphotographers.com, and his photography has been published in “National Geographic.”

Other finalists included prominent casting directors Samuel Ellis, Ferdinando Verderi, Erin Simon and Piergiorgio Del Moro. 

This survey marks the first time Vogue Casting has ranked casting directors, although there is always a healthy competition between them. Vogue Casting manages auditions, casting calls, and casting directors for Vogue. 

For the first time in their history, Vogue recently launched a modeling competition with Dior’s beauty division, with a casting call set for September 10. Models who audition for Vogue Casting must be older than 18, submit professional and recent headshots and be willing to travel to audition sites at their own expense. 

Through the survey of the top casting directors, Vogue Casting wants to remind and assure models everywhere that things will eventually return to normal and that their jobs are guaranteed once the uncertainty caused by COVID-19 is under control.
