TORONTO, April 6, 2020 /CNW/ - After six years of publishing Canadian-based Bay Street Bull, parent company Rathnelly Group Media is proud to debut a new visual identity for the business lifestyle publication, inspired by Toronto's vibrant transit system.

Months in development, the new direction presents a refreshing and modern look that reflects Bay Street Bull's voice and audience, emphasizing one of its key values: community.

"This has been a long time coming. While we certainly had not expected to launch a new visual identity during these conditions, we think that it is still important to find reasons to celebrate, and this is certainly one for us," says Editor-in-Chief, Lance Chung. "We have always strived to showcase the spirit of business and culture, and this new direction is a reflection of such. As transit systems are integral arteries that facilitate the movement of ideas and innovation within cities, we hope to do the same with our entrepreneurial- and leadership-focused mission and values."

With a focus on business, technology, and culture, Bay Street Bull highlights the intersection of Canada's most vibrant communities, along with the individuals leading the way. The debut coincides with the upcoming launch of the fourth annual 30x30 issue, which celebrates Canada's most inspiring young leaders who are shaping the future.

In an interview on BayStBull.com, Art Director, Theo Lamar, expands his vision further:

"The typography used on the old signage of Toronto's subway system was my starting point. After that, it became a natural association for a Toronto-based company to honour its city and use the symbology behind our transportation system. Bay Street Bull reflects the business community and the way it connects people, just as the subway connects a city."

The new visual identity will be reflected immediately across all digital platforms, as well as Bay Street Bull's first issue of 2020, the fourth annual Spring 30x30 issue. Available across Canada and online, Bay Street Bull focuses on today's most inspiring leaders, with past interviews featuring Sir Richard Branson, Lady Gaga, Masai Ujiri, Meghan Markle, Robert DeNiro, Whitney Wolfe Herd, and more.
