ColorKraft Auto Refinishers Ties Up With GPO Tuning to Offer Expert European Auto Body Repair

Columbia, Tennessee – Great news for German car dealers, collectors, and enthusiasts: auto body shop ColorKraft Auto is in business.

Specializing in collision repair, paint, restoration, wheel refinishing, dent repair, and car detailing, ColorKraft Auto is a joint partnership between Nashville-based GPO Tuning (German Performance Options) and Glorified Bodies, a high-end automotive paint, body, and collision center located in Columbia, Tennessee.

ColorKraft Auto fills a gap in the GPO Tuning services menu. GPO Tuning, the BMW repair shop, which also offers Porsche service, VW repair, Audi service, and MB repair, previously outsourced body shop work. Having ColorKraft Auto as a sister company means quality is consistently maintained across all services.

This venture was born out of a shared love for premium German cars and a steadfast commitment to fine craftsmanship. Upon the recommendation of J3 Restorations’ Rich Ewald (j-3restoration.com), GPO Tuning (German Performance Options) managing partner Justis Kivari got in touch with Glorified Bodies’ Josh Lemon. Justis asked for Josh’s assistance on a one-off custom paint project. The exceptional quality of Lemon’s work was enough for Justis and his partners Doug Hoffarth and Corey Harper to offer Josh a partnership deal.

After a series of meetings, Lemon and Kivari, along with their respective business partners, came to the conclusion that working together would complement their respective expertise. Lemon made the decision to close Glorified Bodies and restructure the body shop as ColorKraft Auto. 

ColorKraft Auto offers automobile paint, car detailing, collision repair, wheel repair, and dent repair services for European cars. The auto body shop and car paint shop has since gained a loyal following with dealerships and customers in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.

Meet the ColorKraft Auto Team

Las Vegas-born Josh Lemon knew at an early age that paint and auto bodywork was his life’s calling. Josh opened his very first detailing business when he was 18 years old, and he soon caught the attention of the managers at his local MB repair shop. He spent the next few years honing his craft and is now a sought after Porsche and Aston Martin body repair professional. He has since become Nashville’s go-to person for discerning clients who expect nothing less than a flawless finish.

A retired Naval officer and helicopter maintenance technician, Ryan Lacey has been in the automotive industry from the time he became a civilian. After a year-long apprenticeship, Lacey was out-painting veterans at Andrews Cadillac in Brentwood. Certified in Porsche repair, BMW repair, and Audi repair, Ryan’s passion for bodywork is evident in every vehicle fortunate enough to be in his very capable hands.

ColorKraft Auto’s lead detailer Aaron Monroe is a local boy, growing up in Spring Hill, Tennessee. 

Dallas McLaird grew up in Franklin, Tennessee. Part of his job as an estimator is to make sure each customer gets the excellent vehicle service at a fair price.
