Amman – April 9, 2020 – As part of its humanitarian and community objectives in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Gadara Initiative organized yesterday morning a special campaign to support wheat allergy patients known as Celiac Disease under the guidance of the initiative’s founder, Ambassador Faraj Mohammed Al Omari, Goodwill Ambassador and Honorary Advisor of Imsam International Observer at the United Nations Economic Council, a member of the UNESCO World Cluster of Civilizations and a member of the British International Friendship Association, and carried out by a group of volunteers headed by Mahmoud Al-Omari.
On this occasion, Mr. Faraj Al-Omari said, “The best human actions that do not expect to be paid for, but stem from the heart and from the desire of man to give and do good, and to work for many volunteer teams that have one message is to do good all the time, which is a living example of many forms, to enter all fields of life, and in this context the volunteer person starts from his sense of responsibility towards those around him and towards the human and spatial environment.”
The campaign included the manufacture and processing of 500 to 1000 kilograms of gluten-free flour and distributed free of charge to those in need in special lists and in coordination with the Association for The Care of Patients with Allergy and Wheat Allergy charity in Amman, especially in light of the spread of virus Corona Covid-19.
The initiative is keen to go everywhere to make people happy and make joy and this is one of its noble goals that it always strives to achieve.
