Federal Home Loan Bank of New York Declares A 6.35% Dividend For The Fourth Quarter Of 2019

NEW YORK, Feb. 20, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The Federal Home Loan Bank of New York ("FHLBNY") is pleased to announce that, on February 20, 2020, its Board of Directors approved a dividend for the fourth quarter of 2019 of 6.35 percent (annualized).  The dollar amount of the dividend will be approximately $87.8 million.  The cash dividend will be distributed to member financial institutions on February 21, 2020.

"The FHLBNY performed well in 2019, as reflected in our quarterly dividend payments, which total $352.5 million paid from 2019 income – a full-year dividend rate of 6.35 percent," said José R. González, president and CEO of the FHLBNY. "We are proud to have provided our members with a reasonable return on their investment in our cooperative, and we remain focused on serving as their reliable partner."

The FHLBNY will publish its 2019 audited financial results in its Form 10-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which is expected to be filed on or about March 20, 2020.
