BOSTON, Dec. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cryptshare, the German developer of data security and privacy solutions for the exchange of business-critical information, today announced the U.S. availability of Cryptshare on Microsoft Azure, their first release in support of Cryptshare as PaaS (cloud computing).

"Companies with a cloud-first approach now have a secure file transport option that matches their IT strategy," explains Matthias Kess, CTO of Cryptshare AG. "They can run Cryptshare on a Microsoft Azure server and gain all the advantages associated with cloud computing and PaaS -- from scalability to a wide range of customizations and redundancy."

The decision to launch Cryptshare on Azure comes in direct response to the growing popularity of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Outlook 365 among current Cryptshare users as well as the increased demand for an option to operate in an infrastructure environment fully hosted by Microsoft Azure.

"Already we've given our users the option to install the encryption software solution on their own network, in their own data center or with a hosting party of their choice," explained CEO and President Mark Forrest. "Now with so many organizations deciding that the most secure place to protect their sensitive electronic data exchange is in the cloud, simplifying the installation for Azure by gaining certification for the Microsoft Azure Marketplace became an important part of our product roadmap."

Today's announcement signals the first of several cloud computing moves Cryptshare will be making in the coming months. As more organizations take a Cloud-First approach to efficient, cost-effective computing, Cryptshare will be expanding its support of cloud infrastructures to give their customers a range of cloud computing choices.

Cryptshare has been offering a reliable and user-friendly solution for sharing e-mails and files securely since 2007. Current Cryptshare customers migrating to Microsoft Azure can use a Bring Your Own License approach to deploying their current secure file exchange solution to the cloud.
