US Storage Centers acquires second facility in Bakersfield, CA.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (PRWEB) October 29, 2019

US Storage Centers, a premier owner/operator of self storage facilities nationally, has acquired a 649 unit, 118,595-square-foot self storage facility located at 3813 Mesa Grande Street in Bakersfield, California. This is the firm's second Bakersfield facility as it also owns and operates Bakersfield Storage located at 3049 Unicorn Road.

"We are very excited to continue our growth in Bakersfield and California in general," said Charles Byerly, President and CEO of US Storage Centers. "Although unique geographically, Bakersfield ranks as the 62nd largest MSA in the country and 9th largest city in California. We have been very strategic in the type of facilities we are interested in for this area, based on data from our existing footprint here. This acquisition will be a nice complement to our portfolio in the immediate market and overall."

Byerly went on to say, "We continue to seek good assets in major MSAs across the country and will be very aggressive for those assets that complement our portfolio. If you're a seller, bring us your deal."

Ideally located adjacent to the California State Route 99 freeway, this facility features climate-controlled units, electronic gated access and 24-hour video surveillance.
