Nancy Briefs Joins Mitre Medical Corp. Board of Directors

MORGAN HILL, Calif., July 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mitre Medical is pleased to announce the addition of Nancy Briefs to our Board of Directors. Ms. Briefs is a strategic business leader in life sciences, with extensive experience creating value, driving strategy, and launching products. In her career, Ms. Briefs has raised over $500 million in equity, including an IPO.

She has served on numerous start-up life science boards, including Apama Medical (acquired by Boston Scientific), CardiAQ, (acquired by Edwards Lifesciences), and Vista Medical, where she was a founding team member. Vista Medical was one of the pioneers of beating-heart surgery for mitral repair. During her time at Edwards, Ms. Briefs scrubbed in on over 300 valve surgeries.
