BONITA SPRINGS, Fla., May 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Innovative Food Holdings, Inc. IVFH, ("IVFH" or "the Company") an interconnected platform of specialty food companies that provides chefs and consumers direct access to the highest quality specialty food products across the U.S., announced today that it has filed a Form 12b-25 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  IVFH currently expects to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q and release first quarter 2019 earnings results within the five-day extension period.

The Company filed for an extension due to additional time needed to review the Company's financials as a result of the short timeframe between the release of the Company's 2018 yearly financial results and the due date of the Company's 2019 first quarter results.
