Added efficiencies and accuracy can be expected with the Portland Bureau of Transportation's new FastTrackGov Vehicle for Hire Regulation and Reporting software.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (PRWEB) April 04, 2019

The Portland Bureau of Transportation is now live with the first phase of Mitchell Humphrey & Co.'s FastTrackGov (FTG) Vehicle for Hire Regulation and Reporting software, streamlining program operations and reducing errors while offering improved service to their customers and the citizens of Portland. This first phase involved automating the licensing functions for their Private for Hire Transportation Program (PFHTP) and Towing Program companies and vehicles.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation was looking to modernize their processes and provide greater support and an elevated level of service to their customer base. They needed a software solution that would be adaptable to the ever-changing vehicle for hire industry and convenient and user-friendly for their customers. The Mitchell Humphrey & Co. FTG Vehicle for Hire Regulation and Reporting software was the perfect fit:

  • Eliminated limited office hours by switching to 24/7 access with an online portal for customers and the public
  • Reduced operational costs by allowing payments to be made online
  • Increased efficiencies with process automation

"This was a big change for our customers and our staff as many of the features in FastTrackGov available to us now extend far beyond our legacy system. We are processing applications much faster and the margin for errors have been reduced significantly. But most importantly, we are providing better service to our customers. We are very excited to implement phase II in the not so distant future where our private for hire drivers will experience the same benefits," said Mark Williams, Regulatory Division Manager in Portland.

Offering a central source of data, providing access to real-time data, and simplifying reporting gives regulators greater control over their operations. Future phases include automating the driver licensing process, automating enforcement and inspection activities, and employing the FTG mobile app for enforcement/inspections.
