UDR Announces a 6.2% Annualized Common Dividend Increase for 2019

~ Declares Quarterly Dividends ~

UDR, Inc. UDR, a leading multifamily real estate investment trust, today announced that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend on its common stock for the first quarter of 2019 in the amount of $0.3425 per share, payable in cash, on April 30, 2019 to UDR common stock shareholders of record as of April 9, 2019. The April 30^th dividend will be the 186^th consecutive quarterly dividend paid by the Company on its common stock.

As previously announced in February, the Company's annualized 2019 common dividend of $1.37 per share represents a 6.2% increase over the annualized common dividend of $1.29 per share in 2018.

UDR also announced that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend on its Series E preferred stock for the first quarter of 2019 in the amount of $0.3492 per share. The preferred dividend is payable on April 30, 2019 to Series E preferred stock shareholders of record as of April 9, 2019.
