TORONTO, Jan. 15, 2019 /CNW/ - The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is holding a news conference on Tuesday, January 22 at 9:00 a.m. to report the findings of the latest CAMH Monitor.  The survey is CAMH's primary vehicle for monitoring substance use and mental health problems among Ontario adults. First conducted in 1977, it is the longest ongoing survey of its kind of adults in Canada.

This year's results will be presented by CAMH President and CEO Dr. Catherine Zahn and will include a panel discussion of the findings.  The authors of the CAMH Monitor survey will also be available for one-on-one interviews following the news conference.

WHEN: Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.

WHERE: Sacred Space, Second Floor, 100 Stokes Street. (Bell Gateway Building)

ITINERARY:

  • 9:00 a.m. - Dr. Catherine Zahn announces results of the survey
  • 9:10 a.m. – Panel discussion with lead author Dr. Hayley Hamilton, Senior Scientist at CAMH's Institute for Mental Health Policy Research, CAMH Psychiatrist and VP Education Dr. Sanjeev Sockalingam and CAMH Youth Engagement Facilitator Emma McCann
  • 9:35 a.m. – one-on-one interview opportunities.
