Taste Of Home Launches Fifth Annual Gingerbread Boulevard In New York City


NEW YORK, Dec. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Taste of Home, the leading multi-platform producer of food, cooking and entertaining content, brings its Gingerbread Boulevard installation to New York City's Madison Square Park for the fifth consecutive holiday season. The free event, which will run from December 6 to December 19, features a life-size gingerbread house with candy decor and a winter wonderland interior. Folgers® Coffee returns as the presenting partner of the event.

Built with gingerbread and peppermint tiles, and topped with a candy and frosting roof, this year's house will feature frosted windows inspired by the iconic New York City holiday window displays. Peer inside the house to see the giant nutcrackers stand guard over a toy train touring "Gingerbread America." From the lighthouses of New England to the Golden Gate Bridge, this one-of-a-kind installation is made entirely from real gingerbread and candy.

This year, for the first time, visitors can enter to win a magical dining experience inside the house. The Taste of Home editors have curated an exclusive series of dessert tastings and sit-down brunches, with a menu of sweet and savory treats paired with a selection of fresh-brewed blends from Folgers® Coffee. Foodies, friends and families alike can sign up online or in-person at the Gingerbread Boulevard holiday kiosk in Madison Square Park from December 6 through December 10.
