Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholders Mark A. Clayton and Gil Rudolph will speak at the Conference on Consumer Finance Law's (CCFL) Annual Consumer Financial Services Conference. The two-day event will be held at Texas A&M University School of Law, Nov. 5-6.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholders Mark A. Clayton and Gil Rudolph will speak at the Conference on Consumer Finance Law's (CCFL) Annual Consumer Financial Services Conference. The two-day event will be held at Texas A&M University School of Law, Nov. 5-6.

CCFL is a non-profit organization founded by members of the legal profession and the financial services industry to offer educational services, publications and research relating to consumer financial services law.

Clayton will participate as a panelist in the session titled, "The Wages of Sin – Providing Financial Services for Cannabis and Gaming." The panel will address how to provide banking services to new industry groups. Rudolph will moderate a discussion titled, "The 2019 BCFP – A Forward Looking View." This panel will focus on the continuing changes at the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection in its leadership, priorities, rulemaking, supervision and enforcement, and litigation.

Clayton, co-chair of the Global Gaming Practice, has wide-ranging experience in the gaming industry and focuses his practice on gaming operational and regulatory matters, including those related to land-based gaming, internet gaming and the manufacturing and distribution of gaming equipment. He also focuses on legislation and regulatory projects and represents clients with gaming matters in U.S. and international jurisdictions.

Rudolph is co-chair of the firm's Financial Regulatory and Compliance Practice. He focuses his practice on the representation of finance companies, banks, mortgage originators and servicers, retail installment transaction financers and other consumer financial service providers in regulatory, compliance management and litigation matters. Rudolph also represents various alternative financial service providers, such as small dollar lenders, consumer and commercial online lenders, and auto title lenders. He additionally represents various participants in the credit, debit, and prepaid card issuance and processing industries. Rudolph is a past-chairman of the Conference on Consumer Finance Law.
