Strayer University Opens New Campus in El Paso to Serve Working Adults


The university's seventh campus in the state will offer affordable
education opportunities for non-traditional students

Today, Strayer University hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate
the opening of its seventh campus in Texas, which sits in the heart of
El Paso. The new campus will focus on serving working adults, and will
feature a new, leaner classroom model that provides students with
collaborative spaces to meet with peers and faculty and access to more
support resources. Winter classes will begin on Jan. 2, 2019.

"We are thrilled to add El Paso to the Strayer family and to offer the
El Paso community accessible opportunities to take the next steps toward
receiving a postsecondary degree," said Brian Jones, president of
Strayer University. "Strayer is focused on meeting the needs of working
adults, which includes providing an affordable and attainable option for
earning a degree and ensuring students are achieving their career goals."

Strayer University offers a wide range of degrees—from associate's and
bachelor's, to master's. Students at the El Paso campus will be able to

Strayer University has six other campuses in Texas, and more than 70
campuses nationwide. The El Paso campus will empower the community with
targeted skills training, Student Success Coaching, and one-on-one
financial advising.
